Għar Ħanex is a rugged coastal area in Qrendi, along Malta’s southern coastline between Għar Lapsi and Wied iż-Żurrieq. The main Għar Ħanex cave/window collapsed in 2019 due to rough seas and coastal erosion, but the surrounding coastline remains a dramatic nature spot with limestone cliffs, wild sea views, a hidden rocky bay, and a smaller cave section nearby. The area is best explored with care, as access can be uneven, exposed, and unsuitable in rough weather or strong wind.
